Release | Sean Marcellus Has Resigned as Interim Commissioner

Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League hereby announces that Interim Commissioner Sean Marcellus has decided to resign his position in order to pursue a new career outside of hockey. During Sean’s nine years employed by the league, his diverse skills and energy were greatly appreciated by all. We are thankful for his yeoman work, and are sure that Sean has a bright future in his new career. We wish him all the best.

In the interim, the members of our Hockey Executive along with our Board of Governors will assume the duties temporarily until a decision on a permanent replacement is made following the completion of this hockey season.

The Central Canada Hockey League is a Hockey Canada/Hockey Eastern Ontario sanctioned Junior A league comprising of twelve member franchises across Eastern Ontario whose mission is to develop young student/athletes between the ages of sixteen and twenty for higher levels of hockey.
